General conditions

Your booking constitutes a contract with which you accept all and each of the following terms. This contract prevails over other agreements related to the trip. Anyone who books one of our submitted trips including customized trips must read and understand wholly our terms and policies of sale. The word participant used in the text means a person who buys or takes part in an ECOTOUR's trip.

Reservation and booking

Reservations are performed through the duly filled booking form. As soon as we receive your booking form, we will inform you (per e-mail or phone) the procedures following this step and confirm the availibility of seats. Any booking wil be followed by a non-refundable deposit accounting for 25% of the booking price. The balance of the total amount must be paid 30 days before the departure date (eg : the arrival date mentioned in the tour). 50% of the total booking amount isn't refundable if a cancellation occurs before the 7 th day of the tour organization. After this time limit, no payment is possible. Concerning a booking before 30 days of the departure, the whole payment will insure the booking.

Anyone who books and accepts these terms of sale on behalf of one or many other persons will be responsible for this with the consent without restriction of the person(s) and must make him/them know these conditions.

Cancellation

If the balance of this trip is outstanding (is not fully paid) 30 days berore the departure, we will cancel

the booking wihtout allowance. If we are oblige to cancel a booking for any reason, the participants will be fully repaid without allowance. The traveller will not receive any payment if he/she breaks or shortens the trip.

Code of conduct of the traveller

The traveller's acceptation of the code of conduct presented in the form is a condition of the booking validation.

International flights

International flights are not included in our tours. However,in order to help our customers, we can in some cases book or buy for them air transport to a partner travel agency which provides us with competitive prices. We will not at all benefit from the sale of international flight tickets. This service aims only at making easier the steps for our customers. ECOTOUR is not responsible for international air transport and transits between the different segments and actors of this transport.

Health and equipment

Any person in good health can participate in our tours.They demand neither exceptional physical form nor particular technical knowledge (unless we indicate it). The guides and all necessary equipments are provided by ECOTOUR and its partners (except for personal equipments). Travellers suffering from an allergy or a desease or undergoing a medical treatment must imperatively inform us about this before the beginning of the expedition. Futhermore, the latter must constantly hold their medecines and let the guide know about the situation.

International laws

Every participant must abide by the regulations and laws of the visited countries at any time of the trip. We will anyway take the traveller's individual responsubility to insure the fulfilment of all formalities before the departure (passeport, visa, insurance, health certificate) and during the trip including the achievement of customs formalities of the export country goods regulations.The infringement of the regulations, the impossibility of a participant to present documents in order or any delay involve the only responsibility of the participant. This latter will take care of the caused expenses. ECOTOUR is not concerned with complications with the authorithies of the visited country such as : shortcomings, oversights or errors of one of the participant.

Responsibilities

ECOTOUR is in charge of the good organization of the trip .However, it is not responsible for these fortuitous cases,cases of absolute necessity, cases caused by a third person. But even with these last hypotheses, ECUTOUR will strive to sort out the existing difficulties by contactingits best acqaintances. At ev ery time, the participant has to act with security and responsibility. She/he commits herself/himself toaccept the authority, decisions and sensible directives related to the trip proposed by ECOTOUR and its guides.

Insurance

Throughtout the tour the participants travel at their own risks. In this way, we recommend the participant to be subscribed to an insurance trip policy during his stay. A insurance police is expected to offer a complet protection for trip cancellation, stay or flight break, luggage loss or damage, repatriation-assistance, research or rescue fees, foreign medical fees, foreign civil ambulance and civil responsibility fees.

Permission

The participant allows ECOTOUR to take photos or to film the activities of the group for promotional reasons (booklet, website, video, etc.)intended exclusively to ECOTOUR. She/he can refuse by sending a written notice during the booking.
